Kennedy James is joining forces with Valued
Partnering with recognised accountancy firm Valued, Kennedy James has announced plans to offer a human resources package to complement the needs of business owners across the United Kingdom.
Drawing upon her prior experience of working with Valued founder Stephen Paul, Kennedy James director Julie Cummings will offer an employment law service at a set monthly fee, allowing business owners to operate without the need for an HR department.
Organisations that share values
Combining the expertise of Kennedy James and Valued will give both organisations an opportunity to improve employment law services across the North East, and indeed the rest of the United Kingdom. When the values of both organisations – which are to offer professional and experienced solutions at an affordable price – are considered, it is clear that this is a well-matched partnership.
Valued, which recently took home the Xero UK Accounting Partner of the Year award, offers accountancy services in Consett, County Durham, as well as through its offices in Newcastle and London. In addition to providing a range of accountancy solutions, Valued licenses the Xero software, which allows business owners to manage their cash flows and bookkeeping from their smartphone.
Kennedy James, meanwhile, provides its own range of highly effective business solutions, including in interim management, profit improvement and employee performance. The expertise offered by Kennedy James, including that of managing director Julie Cummings, will help to deliver an HR package, giving businesses both clarity and protection.
A solution to benefit local businesses
Supporting the company from an HR perspective, Kennedy James will offer Valued’s clients a human resources package comprising a template contract of employment, employee handbook and quarterly legislation updates to assist organisations in their efforts to achieve legal compliance. As part of the strategic partnership this will be at a discounted price of £150 initial payment followed by £30 per month.
Such a service will be a welcome relief to businesses that lack experience in this field, and will provide a clear set of guidelines to benefit both employers and employees.
The importance of employment legislation guidance
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and maintaining clear business guidelines and expectations not only protects employers, but also helps to ensure job security for employees against malpractices and mistreatment in the workplace.
Whether you are looking to implement new measures in your organisation in response to the latest employment law or simply enhance your firm’s HR function, the expert HR and finance consultants at Kennedy James can guide you through your options and provide effective, actionable solutions to complement both your business and its employees.
